Ode to Raven

Burning eyes,
That pierce your soul,
Spreading warmth through your blood,
And setting your heart on fire.

The long, straight hair that falls down, shimmering like the most beautiful of waterfalls,
And her sly smile,
Crushing your sanity,
Melting your heart like butter,
And setting your mind on fire.

The greatest of angels,
Could not match her charm,
Nor her kindness,
Yet vanity takes no hold.
With an unmatched beauty inside and out,
She will set your soul on fire.

The greatest of heroes,
And the most powerful demons,
When faced with her,
Are reduced to mere mortals.
And then, without a second thought,
She will break your heart,
And throw it away.
